Question about body building?

Could someone possibly explain to me, how i can over a years time get muscular? i mean just a list of daily exercises and food that would be good to eat. example Daily push ups=100 or something like that. I started training MMA a year and a half ago and i'm tired of being skinny and would like to get some upper arm strength and stuff. Thanks
